MetroParks Ice Rink opens for the season on Thanksgiving weekendMetroParks Ice Rink officially opens on Friday, Nov. 24. MetroParks Ice Rink has beautiful views of the scenic Great Miami River in downtown Dayton and is the region’s largest outdoor ice skating rink.
Enjoy skating to holiday hits with friends and family, and even take a selfie with our adorable mascot, Parker the Penguin! Purchase a delicious hot cocoa from the Cafe, and keep warm and cozy in our Comfort Tent during your visit. Admission is $7 and skate rental is $3. Skaters three and under skate for free with a paying adult (ice skates must be worn at all times). The MetroParks Ice Rink will be open daily through March 1, 2024!
