Kettering Civic Band More Concert Information

As part of the Kettering Block Party, the Kettering Civic Band is pleased to present a free public concert at 7 p.m. on Wednesday, August 19, 2026, at the Fraze Pavilion. Come join us for an evening of wonderful band music. Directed by Catherine Abner, the concert will feature a variety of music, including works by John Philip Sousa, Joh Williams, Robert Longfield, and more. You will experience patriotic marches with toe-tapping rhythms and the sweeping majesty of Carmen Dragon's arrangement of "America the Beautiful." The show will also see the return of fan-favorite "Kirkpatrick Fanfare," a Celtic-flavored melody which shines via the addition of the Irish bodhran drum. There may also be a surprise performance featuring a delightful tango!

The concert is one you won’t want to miss! It is free and family-friendly. Seating is general admission. The Kettering Civic Band is grateful for continued financial support from the City of Kettering, Parks, Recreation and Cultural Arts Department, and Rosewood Arts Center, Corcovado Foundation, and individual donors.
