Cornerstone Music Series returns with diverse line up of local musicians
The Cornerstone Music Series, presented by Bethany Lutheran Village, returns for the 2026 season with a diverse lineup of live performances at the Cornerstone Park Pavilion. Located at 5210 Cornerstone North Blvd. between Costco and Cooper’s Hawk Winery & Restaurant, the series offers an intimate concert experience.
Concerts are organized by the Centerville Arts Commission and take place from 7:00 to 9:00 p.m. on select evenings throughout the spring, summer and fall. Attendees are encouraged to bring their own seating and enjoy a relaxed concert experience in one of Centerville’s most vibrant outdoor spaces.
Cornerstone Park is located within one of the City’s designated refreshment areas, allowing guests to purchase alcoholic beverages from participating nearby establishments and carry them into the concert space.
The 2026 season is proudly sponsored by Bethany Lutheran Village, celebrating its 100th anniversary.

Friday, May 15 – Forte and Vocalight
Centerville High School’s Forte is a dynamic vocal ensemble known for rich harmonies and a repertoire spanning pop and contemporary favorites. Sharing the stage, Vocalight brings an energetic blend of a cappella and vocal-driven arrangements, showcasing precision and engaging stage presence.
Friday, June 19 – Noah Wotherspoon
Award-winning blues guitarist and singer Noah Wotherspoon is recognized internationally for his fiery guitar work and soulful vocals. A former International Blues Challenge winner, Wotherspoon blends traditional blues with rock influences, delivering high-energy performances that resonate with both purists and modern audiences.
Friday, July 17 – Different and the Same
This Dayton-based cover band delivers an eclectic mix of rock and pop favorites. Different and the Same is a husband-and-wife duo joined by a group of talented friends, known for their tight musicianship and fun, engaging live performances that keep audiences entertained.
Friday, August 21 – Innovation
Innovation is a contemporary jazz and fusion group that blends modern grooves. Featuring seasoned musicians, the band explores a wide range of styles, offering audiences a fresh and sophisticated listening experience.
Friday, September 18 – 5 Band
A local favorite, 5 Band delivers a high-energy mix of classic rock, pop hits and dance favorites. Known for their strong vocals and crowd interaction, they consistently get audiences on their feet.
Sunday, September 20 – GuitarFest featuring Jim McCutcheon
The Dayton Guitar Society’s GuitarFest showcases the artistry of various guitar styles, headlined by Jim McCutcheon, a respected fingerstyle guitarist, composer and Centerville educator. McCutcheon’s performances highlight intricate technique and expressive storytelling through music, often drawing from folk, classical and contemporary influences.
