Where Packards Meet Prohibition: America’s Packard Museum’s Blackjack Ball Returns
Guests are invited to join America’s Packard Museum on Nov. 14th at 7pm for the annual Blackjack Ball. This is an adults-only after-hours event, allowing you to experience the Museum in a whole new way for an elegant evening of casino-inspired entertainment, including Blackjack, Craps, Roulette, and Texas Hold ‘Em. Plus, while sipping specialty bourbon & cocktails, enjoy live jazz music from GTP Collective Jazz Trio, silent auction and raffle items, along with delicious hors d’oeuvres from Bernstein’s Fine Catering. For those who partake, a Cigar Bar sponsored by The Wharf will add another classic touch to the night’s adventures. It’s all wrapped up in a classic prohibition-style atmosphere, surrounded by the world’s most impressive public collection of Packards.
Guests will have the chance to get up close to a few automobiles with legendary connections to the Prohibition and casino worlds. Among the museum’s collection are Packards once associated with notorious gangster Al Capone and Montauk Casino founder Carl Fisher. A special photo opportunity awaits guests, featuring one of the museum's most notorious automobiles, adding an unforgettable memory to an already unique evening. We will also be featuring a new element this year, especially for those who do not want to partake in casino games: “The Hideaway”. Here you can relax, sip cocktails, and be pampered by Salon Red and Clash Dayton.
No real money is exchanged for winning – but you can exchange your chips for a plethora of exciting prizes. Just a memorable night, plenty of fun, and the chance to play your cards right.
