Springboro's Juneteenth Jubilee
Join us for an exciting Juneteenth celebration in Springboro, filled with family-friendly activities! The Springboro Juneteenth Jubilee was the first official Juneteenth celebration in the greater Dayton area following the global pandemic and we are gearing up for our 5th year. Our mission is to foster unity, recognize this day in American history, celebrate Springboro’s role as a key stop on the Underground Railroad, and honor Springboro’s founding families.
This family-friendly event offers something for everyone! Join us in historic downtown Springboro, Ohio, on Saturday, June 21, 2025, for a vibrant CommUNITY Celebration on North Street (between Main and East Streets). Enjoy live performances from local and regional performers along with children’s activities, craft and artisan vendors, community partners, and food trucks. The Springboro Juneteenth Jubilee continues around the corner at the Springboro Museum. Guests can explore the museum center and learn about some of Springboro’s documented safe houses and historic sites on the self-guided Underground Railroad tours in the downtown area.

Why Juneteenth in Springboro?
Springboro is a significant landmark in the history of the Underground Railroad and the abolitionist movement. Our founding Quaker community played a major role as a haven for Freedom Seekers, paving the way for freedom for Black Americans. Juneteenth is an incredible opportunity to celebrate our local history as a community.
