Dottie Yeck Good Life Award Writing Contest
Teens can win $3,000 for writing about their lives in the 14th Annual Dottie Yeck Good Life Award Writing Contest! Online entries are accepted from teens enrolled in grades 7-9 who live or attend school in Montgomery County. This program is paid for with an endowment from the family of Dottie Yeck who believed in Being Good + Doing Good = Having Fun and Being Happy and that 'one is never too young to make a positive impact on the world.' Additional prizes for 2nd place ($500), 3rd place ($250), 4th place ($100) plus $25 to Honorable Mentions awarded.
