Quilting 101 - Learn basic quilting techniques

Learn to Quilt plus bonus block HST

Prerequisite: Sewing 101 – Basic sewing knowledge – book a private lesson to catch up before the class!

Skill Level: Beginner

The student can thread the machine, fill a bobbin, and understand basic sewing terms, cutting, and seam allowance.

Ages: 14 and up

Class Max: 6

Bring:

Sewing Kit

Charm Pack

Cotton or All-purpose polyester thread

Size 12 or 14 Microtex sewing needles (if using your machine)

Rotary Cutter

Quilting rulers – bring at least one quilting ruler or a 6.5″ x 6.5″ square

Marking tools

Sewing Machine * unless you want to use mine

Piecing Foot

Traveling Ironing Board (very useful but optional; you can make one using this tutorial too!)
