Prerequisite: Sewing 101 – Basic sewing knowledge – book a private lesson to catch up before the class!

Skill Level: Beginner

Beginner sewist: The student can thread the machine, fill a bobbin, and understand basic sewing terms, cutting, and seam allowance.

Ages: 14 and up

Class Max: 6

Cotton or All-purpose polyester thread

Size 12 or 14 Microtex sewing needles

Quilting rulers – bring at least one quilting ruler or 6.5″ x 6.5″ square 

Marking tools

Sewing Machine * unless you want to use mine

Traveling Ironing Board (very useful, you can make one using this tutorial too!)
