Intermediate Needle Felting: Felting a Fox with a Wire Armature

In this class, students take their art to the next level by learning how to create a gently pose-able fox using a simple armature creating a base for three-dimensional shapes. Additionally, students learn how to needle felt over the armature to create basic shapes of their fox, how to blend colors of wool, and how to add details such as eyes and noses. Class covers how to add acrylic rhinestones, polymer clay details or 3-D pen-drawn details. All materials provided. Class meets Saturday 1 – 5 p.m. March 30. $145/resident; $150/non-resident.
