Fifth Street will be closed between Patterson Blvd. and Wayne Ave. to host scary and sexy ghosts, ghouls, zombies, freaks, geeks, and more. Hauntfest is an adult event. You don't have to be 21 to enter, but you do have to be 21 to drink adult beverages, so don't forget you're photo ID if want to buy "spirits".
The Costume Contest kicks off at 10pm and the Oregon District's eateries and taverns look forward to serving you. Food and drinks (including spirits) will also be offered in support of other area non-profits at several stops along Fifth Street.
Hauntfest on 5th promises a fun and laughter filled evening. Word to the wise - wear or take comfortable shoes! Tickets are just $5 and are available in advance at Oregon District businesses or pay at gate when you arrive (if you pay at the gate and arrive after 9p, the cost will be $10 per person).
In the spring of 2012, after a Google search of her name failed to produce first page results, Lisa opened a Twitter account to improve her Google ranking. As luck would have it, not only did sharing good news on her Twitter account earn her top ranking on Google, it also earned her an invitation to blog for Dayton Local. Lisa accepted and her role with Dayton Local quickly grew to include community relations, advertising sales, sharing social media responsibilities, and team development.
Great things are happening, celebrate your blessings by paying them forward! Have fun and laugh ~ a lot! For fun and good news follow her on Twitter @SeibertLA.
