Listener Appreciation Concert
The students and staff of WDPS FM invite the Dayton community to a listener appreciation concert on Saturday, Sept. 28, from 4 to 9 p.m., featuring a special tribute to WDPS on-air personality Clay "The Cooker” Collins, who celebrates 45 years in Dayton radio this year.This free concert will be held at the David H. Ponitz Career Technology Center, home of WDPS Radio, at 741 Washington St. The public is encouraged to bring their dancing shoes. There is free parking at the school.
Other performances include The John Slate Trio with Wanda Rash, The Special Guest Band, Jazz Central Jammers, and Dean Simms with a tribute to Louis Armstrong.

Ponitz Career Technology Center is a partnership between Dayton Public Schools and Sinclair Community College to create a world-class high school where all programs have been jointly developed by high school and college faculty to lead students to a college degree and high wage employment.
