Prepare thyself for a non-stop, day-long adventure!

Queen Elizabeth and over 150 costumed characters invite you to this 30-acre re-created 16th Century English village where you can enjoy over 400 years of fun in a single day! Featuring 52 shows, 18 stages, over 170 unique arts and crafts shops, hearty food and drink fit for Kings, games of skill and human-powered rides to amuse all ages, the Ohio Renaissance Festival offers something for everyone!

The most unique shopping experience found anywhere!

Throughout the 30-acre village Marketplace you’ll find over 135 world-class artisans featuring hand made wares such as clothing, jewelry, pottery, weaponry, home décor, art, and more. Demonstrations of time honored crafts like coin striking, glass blowing, stone carving, leather tooling, boot making, candle making, blacksmithing, metalsmithing, and weaving can also be seen.

OPENING WEEKEND: September 2 — 4
We’re so excited to welcome you back to the village! Come out and play for an extra day! We’re open Saturday, Sunday, and Labor Day!

FANTASY WEEKEND: September 9 — 10
All things fantastical come to life this weekend! Join the Witches of Willy Nilly and the fairies as they enchant the village.

PIRATES WEEKEND: September 16 — 17
Celebrate International Talk like a Pirate Day (September 19) with us all weekend long! Rollicking sea shanties, a giant Pirate ship, and Pirate Play Time awaits ye land lubbers!

HIGHLAND WEEKEND: September 23 — 24
Lads and lassies, the pipes are calling for you to join in the celebration of Highland heritage. It’ll be a real fling with themed competitions, bagpipes, haggis and more!

TIME TRAVELERS WEEKEND: September 30 — October 1
Dress as your favorite character inspired by a movie, TV series, comic book, sci-fi or fantasy work. Everyone is welcome! Costume Contests for adults and kids.

VIKING WEEKEND: October 7 — 8
Gather your hoard and raid the village!

ROMANCE WEEKEND: October 14 — 15
Celebrate Sweetest Day with us! Hearts a-fire as couples renew their vows in a free Mass Renewal of Vows Ceremony held at St. Peter’s Chapel.

FEAST OF FOOLS: October 21 — 22
It’s okay to be foolish this weekend! The village is filled with fools of all sizes and their foolish antics. PLUS it’s Pumpkin Vs. Watermelon Wars!

TRICKS OR TREATS: October 28— October 29
Enjoy your favorite show, mug of ale, and delicious foods one last time because after the 30th, we’re history ‘til next year! Wee ones 12 and under are also FREE this weekend.

Ohio Renaissance Festival: Knights, comedy, daring stunt shows, giant roasted turkey legs, bread bowl stews, handmade arts and crafts abound in the authentically recreated 30-acre 16th Century English village.
