Magic the Gathering - Boost Draft
Every Friday night at Gem City Games is a Magic: the Gathering booster draft. Booster draft is a limited format of playing Magic where you draft cards, that is, you pick one card from a booster pack and then pass it to your neighbor. Participants don't have to bring any cards with them, just themselves and a willingness to have fun!
We run draft every Friday @ 6:30 pm, except for the week a major set releases (Ixalan, Dominaria, etc.)
Draft is $13 for 3 packs. Players get to keep any cards they draft. Basic lands are provided, but we do ask that you return them at the conclusion of the event.
Booster draft can also be a great way to experience the full flavor of a Magic set for new and experienced players.
Prizes are awarded to top finishers. Additional promos are provided from Wizards as part of their Friday Night Magic (FNM) program.
