Get ready to let it all go! The Dayton Playhouse is proud to present the Tony Award-nominated musical, The Full Monty

Based on the cult-classic film, this heartwarming and hilarious musical follows a group of unemployed steelworkers in Buffalo, New York. Feeling hopeless and "scrapped," the men decide to transform themselves into a striptease act to raise some quick cash—only to discover they have much more to offer than just their clothes.

"This show is so much more than its famous ending," says Tim Rezash, Director. "It’s a story about friendship, body image, and the lengths we go to for the people we love. We can't wait for Dayton audiences to see the incredible heart—and humor—this cast brings to the stage."

When a group of out-of-work steelworkers discover just how much their wives enjoy a Girls’ Night Out, they come up with a daring plan to make some quick cash. The catch? They’ll have to put it all on the line—literally! A feel-good musical about friendship, self-acceptance, and breaking stereotypes, The Full Monty is the perfect way to end the season with a bang!  This production contains mature themes, including adult language, nudity, and discussion of suicide. Viewer discretion is advised.
