Germantown Beggars’ Night Thursday, October 30 from 6:00 – 8:00 p.m. Rain or shine!
Update 10-7-25: At the October City Council meeting, Mayor Terry Johnson announced that the Germantown City Council had officially decided to move Beggars Night this year to Thursday, October 30. The event will still be from 6 pm – 8 pm. City Council made this decision after considering input from the community, wherein many residents were concerned that a Valley View playoff football game would be occurring on October 31st as well. Beggars Night was set as the 31st for communities in the region several years ago by the Dayton Area Mayors and City Managers Association. While Germantown is not bound to this agreement, the City has abided by it in the past. Due to the special circumstances this year, however, the City has elected to make a temporary alteration. Mayor Johnson and all of City Council hope that residents have a fun and safe time dressing up and going out on the evening of Thursday, October 30th.
