Meet in the southwest parking lot that is accessible by the Market Street entrance. (Not the Oak Drive entrance that goes to the tennis courts).
Cost: $8 for beer drinking; otherwise, $4. Free for first time hashers!
Hares: Toast & Nair
Hash Trail: Trail is ~4.69 miles in beautiful Springboro, Ohio! Mostly urban with some minor woods. You'll get your feet a little wet, but hey it's August, you'll probably sweat more. ?
And of course, you can expect a more than just beer at the beer/water stops, as the title states. No, it's not tacos.
Hashing in General: This is a fun run or hike where you will follow a trail of flour not knowing exactly where it will lead. One or more beer/water stops along the way! In hashing you'll will be running/walking as part of a group. The faster runners will be out ahead looking for flour marks on the ground trying to figure out which way the trail route goes. Sometimes they go the wrong way which allows the slow runners/walkers to catch up and even get ahead. This allows everyone to go at their own pace and stay together as a group.
Dogs: Allowed on leash during trail and circle. Likely not allowed at the on-after. Must be friendly to people and other dogs.
Children: Adults only for first time hashers, since many of us do drink beer. ?
