Dayton Celtic Fetival may be canceled, but we know you will "knot" want to miss the Celtic Knot weekend! July 28-Aug 1
Although the Dayton Celtic Festival is canceled this year, your last weekend in July will still offer a ton of Celtic fun around downtown Dayton.
The wildly popular Dayton Celtic Festival, which was scheduled for July 30 - August 1 at Riverscape Metropark was canceled earlier this year due to insurmountable issues following the late lifting of COVID-19 health restrictions. However, the United Irish of Dayton Celtic Festival committee has planned a series of events to keep the spirit of the festival alive, in what promises to be a fun-filled weekend celebrating all things Celtic.
Here is the full schedule of events planned for 2021:
WEDNESDAY, JULY 28 - Arcade Market - Celtic Knot Edition - Come eat, shop and be inspired! The Arcade Market will have a Dayton Celtic Knot Festival flair featuring live Irish entertainment throughout the day.
THURSDAY, JULY 29 - The Drowsy Lads at Levitt Pavillion - United Irish of Dayton Celtic Festival is hosting The Drowsy Lads at the Levitt Pavillion!
FRIDAY, JULY 30 - Celtic Knot - Friday at Flanagan's Pub - performances by fan favorites, Dulahan, joined by the Dwyer School of Irish Dance and McGovern Irish Dance.
SATURDAY, JULY 31 - Celtic Knot - Saturday at Dublin Pub - performances by the Riley School of Music Ceili Band, Celtic Academy of Irish Dance, Dwyer School of Irish Dance, McGovern Irish Dance, and Father, Son and Friends!
SUNDAY, AUGUST 1 - Celtic Mass - Enjoy the Celtic Mass at St Joseph Church either in person or livestreamed, featuring Celtic hymns and bagpipes.
The full Dayton Celtic Festival will return next year, mark your calendars for July 29-31, 2022.
