Sounds of Summer - Free Concert
Join us for an evening of fun, refreshments and music from Moment's Notice, and the award winning Dayton Philharmonic Orchestra, on the campus of Soin Medical Center.
5:15pm - Moments Notice
6:30pm - Dayton Philharmonic Orchestra
Opening the music for the night will be local a local jazz 5-piece Moment's Notice. Comprised of United States Air Force service members with almost 100 years of collective service, the band's members has played with acts like Stevie Wonder, The Miracles, and Art Garfunkel.
Under Music Director and Conductor Neal Gittleman the Dayton Philharmonic has received the American Society of Composers, Authors and Publishers (ASCAP) award for Adventurous Programming of Contemporary Music an impressive nine times.
Refreshments will be available. Please bring your own chair, but remember coolers, pets, and smoking are NOT permitted.
