The Fairy Godmother Project - Providing Prom Dresses to Local Girls
The Fairy Godmother Project is directed at prom-going high school age girls who are in need of a prom dress.
Originating from an event that was supported by Disney On Ice, The goal of the Fairy Godmother Project was to allow every girl to feel like a princess on her prom day. We at Clothes That Work were so taken by the impact of this project on local girls that we have continued to make the Fairy Godmother Project an annual event.
The Fairy Godmother Project is held on Saturday, March 17, 2012 from 12noon to 4pm at Clothes That Work, 1133 S Edwin C Moses Blvd, Ste 392, Dayton, Ohio 45417.
Each year over 500 girls arrive to find that we have sorted and stocked prom gowns in a department store-like setting with girls able to try on as many dresses as they like (limited to 3 at a time) until they find the perfect dress.
