Join us for a fun and creative workshop where we'll learn how to tie-dye using botanical dyes with the talented artist Devan Horton!

Learn the basics of foraging your own colors using regional plants available in your own backyard! We will learn about some of Devan's favorite plants to use as well as a few simple tie dye techniques that enable us all to create art that's accessible, sustainable, and good for you, your neighbors, and the bees. Students will create their own tea towel using these methods as well as learn how to recreate these techniques at home.

(Towels and Dyes provided)

This workshop is hosted by the Edward A. Dixon Gallery to promote art and sustainability as part of the We're Doing It ALL Wrong® - 5th Annual Art Exhibition.
