Don't Chicken Out!  Wing Fest is July 11

Back again by popular demand, this blistering good time – our Kickin’ Chicken Wing Fest!  

Whether you like them spicy, sweet, tangy or plain, you’ll get the chance to try some of the area’s best wings at the Kicken’ Chicken Wingfest which returns to Fraze Pavilion Saturday, July 11 from 4pm to 10pm.  If you like bold food, rockin’ music and a hearty party, then you’ll love this festival. With a mix of your favorite local restaurants and food trucks, there will be plenty of mouth-watering wings, chunks, sides and desserts. Keep scrolling for a complete list of what to expect.

Last year’s festival featured a fantastic lineup of local favorites, including the Amber Rose Restaurant, Archer’s Tavern, D’s Birria, Dayton Barbecue Co., and Eddie’s Roasted Corn. Festival-goers also enjoyed flavorful dishes from El Meson, Louisiana Passion Catering, Nick's Restaurant, Nora’s Chocolate Moonshine, and Pies and Pints. Rounding out the impressive roster were Renny’s Henny’s Wings and Desserts, Romer's Bar & Grill, The Smoqehouse, Sweetumms, and Victory Lane Pizza. Attendees feasted on an incredible variety of food, from smoked chicken thighs to blackened voodoo wings, and birria tacos. The flavor profiles spanned from classic buffalo to unique options like blueberry BBQ. Beyond the endless wing options, the festival served up hearty jambalaya, savory empanadas, and a fiery "Blazin’ Inferno" pizza. Guests could round out their meals with side dishes like fried corn, fried mushrooms, and homemade mac and cheese, before finishing with sweet treats like crispy churros or a rich banana pudding.

Wing Fest will also bring back the tried and true formula of voting for the best wings and sides, said Amy Zahora, executive director of the Miami Valley Restaurant Association.

Wingfest, is routinely a huge draw, so we suggest paying a visit early, and with an appetite for spicy goodness!  Sorry, no pets.
