SICSA to host Pet Nights at Woodland Lights

For three nights, SICSA Pet Adoption and Wellness Center (SICSA) will host Pet Nights at Woodland Lights in Washington Township.  On November 20th, December 3rd and December 19th, pet owners may bring their friendly, leashed dogs to accompany them on the half-mile paved path of holiday lights.

Pet Nights - Woodland LightsWoodland Lights is a month-long, outdoor festival on ten acres of land hosted by Washington Township.  The event offers lighted displays along a walking trail, train rides and other amusements, as well as the opportunity to pose for photos with Santa.  On each Pet Night, SICSA will provide the first 75 visitors with a free pet gift, and the first 50 pets to visit Santa each night will enjoy a special treat.  SICSA will have staff and volunteers available to help pet owners get the perfect holiday photo of their pup with Santa.

“At SICSA, we know pets are family,” said Nora Vondrell, CEO and President of SICSA about the upcoming event. “With that in mind, we are grateful to join Woodland Lights in offering families an opportunity to celebrate the holidays together with their furry, four-legged members,” Vondrell said.

Woodland Lights is located at Countryside Park, 895 Miamisburg-Centerville Road in Washington Township.  Pet owners can purchase their tickets in advance or onsite at Woodland Lights the night they plan to attend.

All dogs attending must be leashed at all times, and owners are asked to pick up any waste their pet leaves behind.
