Reception: African American Visual Artists Guild
“The Artist’s Life” is the Springboro Performing Arts Center featured exhibit through June 23. Showcasing an eclectic group of artists from the African American Visual Artists Guild in Dayton, “The Artist’s Life” focuses on each participating artist’s journey and highlights a variety of mediums. Featured artists include Andrea Cummings, Daniel Tristan Cupp, Yvette Dalton, Dwayne Daniel, Bing Davis, Horace Dozier. Sr., LaChrisa Gales, Janyce Glasper, Erin Smith Glenn, Al Harden, Kevin Harris, Morris Howard, Constance Storme Johnson, Lois Kirk, Clarice Moore, Simeon Oyeyemi, David Redmon, Craig Screven and Debra Richardson Wood.
Meet the artists at a reception open to the public 2 - 4 p.m. Sunday, June 11. Gallery hours are 8 a.m. - 4 p.m. Monday through Friday with some extended hours on evenings and weekends or by appointment by calling 937-748-5781.
