Workshop: Waging Peace in Difficult Times

Paul K. Chappell, West Point graduate and Iraq War veteran, will present “Waging Peace in Difficult Times,” a free workshop from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m., Feb. 21, at the Dayton International Peace Museum, 208 W. Monument Ave. Chappell is the Peace Leadership Director for the Nuclear Age Peace Foundation. He is also an international lecturer and the author of a series of books on the use of nonviolent practices to improve the quality of life and to end war. Topics for the Feb. 21 workshop will include the foundation and skills of peace leadership, conflict resolution, combatting deception, the power of waging peace, and the tactics and strategies of effective action.
