Kids can get free helmets, ride through a safety course, and have their bikes checked by a technician at Wegerzyn Gardens MetroPark.

Wegerzyn Bike Rodeo For Kids

Free bicycle helmets for local children ages 3 to 15 (while quantities last)

Join Rangers and MVPs for a day of bicycle safety. Bring your two-wheeled bicycle (with or without training wheels) for a bicycle course. Receive a free bike helmet, properly fitted (while quantities last) (no beads in hair, please). The bicycle course teaches students the rules of the road.

The Wegerzyn Bike Rodeo takes place rain or shine.

This event is supported by Five Rivers MetroParks, Dayton Children’s, and Safe Kids of Dayton.
