The Morrígan is one of the most captivating and misunderstood figures in Irish mythology. Known by many names—including The Great Queen and The Phantom Queen—she is often associated with war, death, prophecy, magic, and personal sovereignty. To some, she is a fearsome omen on the battlefield. To others, she is a fierce protector, wise guide, and relentless catalyst for transformation.
Because of her intensity, many modern spiritual practitioners caution newcomers against working with The Morrígan. Yet those who have built a relationship with her often discover a goddess who challenges us not out of cruelty, but out of devotion to our growth. She strips away illusion, calls us into our power, and asks us to stand fully in our truth.
Whether understood as a single goddess or as a triad of sisters, The Morrígan's presence is powerful, mysterious, and deeply transformative. Her sacred symbols—especially the crow and raven—continue to inspire those who walk a path of courage, shadow work, and authentic sovereignty.
In this immersive workshop, we will create space to respectfully explore her myths, symbolism, and modern spiritual practice.
Together, we will:
-Journey to meet The Morrígan through a guided meditation/pathworking.
-Explore her mythology, epithets, sacred symbols, and traditional associations.
-Discuss the many ways practitioners have experienced and interpreted her throughout history and today.
-Learn practices and tools that can help cultivate a respectful relationship with The Great Phantom Queen, including altar work, offerings, divination, and devotional practice.
-Explore how The Morrígan's energy can support shadow work, healthy boundaries, personal sovereignty, courage, and transformation within your own spiritual path.
-Hold space for discussion, questions, and the sharing of personal experiences in a supportive and respectful community.

Salem Hoff (she/they) is a tarot reader, Oracle, and devotee of The Morrigan. Salem has been a card slinging witch for almost 10 years, and completed training to become an Oracle in 2024. They have been a devotee of The Morrigan since the summer of 2022, and working with the Great Phantom Queen has been the catalyst for so many aspects of Salem’s craft. From sharing the knowledge of tarot and communing with The Otherworld to sharing their love for environmentalism, Salem does it all in devotion to The Morrigan and the ancestors that have gone before.
