The Annual Feast of Giving returns in 2026
Experience a day of joy and community at the Feast of Giving on November 26th, from 11:00 AM to 2:00 PM at the Dayton Convention Center. Enjoy delicious food, live music, and fun activities for the whole family — absolutely free, with no tickets required!
Last year’s event demonstrated just how deeply the Feast is woven into the fabric of the Miami Valley. Thousands of residents came together for a warm holiday meal, live music, kids’ activities and a sense of belonging, a response that organizers say affirmed both the need and the community’s enthusiasm for the Feast’s return.
The Feast of Giving is a community‑driven Thanksgiving celebration that brings together Dayton residents for a free holiday meal, entertainment, and fellowship. Founded by Elder‑Beerman in 1969, the event embodies the community’s spirit of generosity, unity, and compassion. Paused in 2020 due to the pandemic, the Feast returned to the Dayton Convention Center in 2025 and continues in 2026 as one of the region’s most beloved holiday traditions. The Feast of Giving is a component fund of the Dayton Foundation.
