Stephanie Layne of Thistle Bee Tea Co. is hosting a Tea Magick Afternoon Tea where we will explore and practice the ancient art of Tasseomancy togethe

Sit for a Spell Together, we will learn a brief history of tea & tea leaf reading, practice honing our intuition, and trusting our own divinity.

Each attendee will have a chance to read their own tea leaves with a little guidance from your host. Everyone will leave with a message from the spirit realm and a small bag of tea leaves to work their own tea magick at home.

This tea party is for everyone! You don't have to have psychic powers or special abilities to read tea leaves. If you have ever seen familiar patterns or shapes in the clouds, you can read the leaves.

A small assortment of nibbles will be provided, but our main focus will be on the history and art of tea leaf reading. We will be consuming tea, there will be one caffeinated and non-caffeinated option available. Join us for an enchanted afternoon of opening communication between friends, strangers, & spirits.

For over two decades, Stephanie Layne has worked the soil and studies plants as an herbalist and horticulturist. This has instilled both a deep reverence for tending the land organically and for sharing the traditions of her family's Appalachian roots. It is her passion for history, research, and providing access to true, pure natural wellness that keeps her up to her elbows in dirt & herbs.

Since, 2018, beautifully handcrafted teas and potent herbal remedies have been offered through Thistle Bee Tea Co. Traditionally, skin and body care options were offered here as well but are now available through The Root & The Moon, our. small batch, nutrient-rich botanicals for skin & body care.

Supported pricing is available via the honor system in a very limited quantity for those in true need. This option is for folks who would not be able to attend the gathering with standard pricing. If supported pricing is needed, please reach out as soon as possible before these spaces are depleted.

PARKING: The Davis-Linden Building enforces a “no parking without a pass.” All guests are asked to park in Guest Parking located on vis Avenue unless they have ADA needs. Please do not park in the main courtyard as this is reserved for individuals who have accessibility needs and tenants of the Davis-Linden Building. YOUR VEHICLE COULD BE TOWED IF YOU PARK IN THE COURTYARD WITHOUT EXPLICIT PERMISSION, OR WITHOUT A PARKING PASS.
