Napa Valley Wine Tasting
Wine Line Up:
2016 Beth’s Cuvee Chardonnay, Sonoma
The 2016 Chardonnay comes from near the top of Sonoma Mountain. Barrel fermented and aged for over a year in new Hungarian oak barrels. This is a rich, full bodied wine with buttery notes of pear, apple and fig, complemented with hints of clove and allspice. Enjoy alone or with your favorite roasted fowl.
2017 Vitus Merlot Rose’ Olive Hill, Napa
The Rose’ is in the style of the Rhone Valley of France. Fermented in concrete tanks, which is an ancient tradition that dates back to over 2,000 years when the French and Italians aged in stone to give the wine its mineral taste. Clean and refreshing, with a lovely floral bouquet ushering in ripe white mulberry, balanced nicely with a dry and crisp finish. Perfect as an aperitif, this Rose’ will pair well with many foods.
2015 Cabernet Sauvignon, Calistoga Napa
A beautiful and elegant wine that comes from Calistoga at the north end of the Napa Valley. Aged for 2 years in a blend of new and aged oak barrels, this is a classic Napa Cab. It presents a ripe and rich profile, with flavors of currant, dark berries, and light vanilla on the finish. Enjoy with hearty red meats, or a rich bleu cheese...
2016 Carol’s Cuvee Pinot Noir, Caneros Sonoma
Grown in the Carneros region of Sonoma, our 2016 Pinot Noir was aged for over a year in new French oak barrels. This is a ripe and rich wine with fantastic aromas of blackberry and dark cherry the follow with a full bodied spicy finish.
2014 Vitus Merlot Reserve, Olive Hill Napa
This is what Merlot should be all about. The grapes come from a 3 acre hillside vineyard with traditionally low yields that produce an age worthy, remarkable merlot. A structured and complex merlot, with elegant and aromatic dark berry flavors. Warm spices and cedar accents linger in this wine’s balanced finish. This wine will age for ten or more years.
