Get your Granny and Grandpa up off their rockers on Sunday, September 8 and bring them to Scene75 in Vandalia to celebrate Grandparent’s Day. This will be one special day they won’t soon forget!All "Grandmas” and "Grandpas” will receive a FREE gift from Scene75. Plus, your whole family can take advantage of Scene75’s Sunday Family Meal Deal. You’ll get $40.00 in Scene75 Arcade Game Cards AND one Large Pizza with topping for only $39.95. It’s Scene75’s headline event… the Granny Grand Prix Go-Kart Race from 1:00 - 3:00 p.m. Nine groovy grannies, age 60 or older, will be chosen by you to compete in this hilarious go-kart race. Complete contest details on how you can nominate your "Granny” are posted on the Scene75 website at www.Scene75.com. But hurry, your nomination must be received by no later than August 25 to be eligible.
All nine Grannies will be racing on our go-kart track for fanfare, your eternal love and admiration, family legacy stories, and GREAT PRIZES! The Grand Prize Granny will receive a First Place Go Kart Trophy, a $100.00 Gift Card to a restaurant or retailer, and a Mini-Bowling Private Lounge Birthday Party or Family Reunion at Scene75 for up to 20 people valued at $400.00!
The Second Place Granny will receive a Second Place Go-Kart Trophy, a $50.00 Gift Card to a restaurant or retailer and a $25.00 Scene75 Gift Card. And, the Third Place Granny will receive a Third Place Go-Kart Trophy, a $25.00 Gift Card to a restaurant or retailer and a $10.00 Scene75 Arcade Game Card.
The person who nominates the winning Granny will also receive a $25.00 Gift Card and a $10.00 Scene75 Arcade Game Card. And, the Granny racer who brings the largest number of friends and family to the event will receive a $25.00 Scene75 Gift Card.
The race will take place from 1:00 - 3:00 p.m. at Scene75’s The Racing Place go-kart track and be hosted by Nancy Wilson and Frye Guy from K99.1 FM’s Breakfast Club.
