Imagine strolling through historic downtown Tipp City on a summer evening with a putter in hand, stopping inside local businesses to play unique mini golf holes, enjoying a classic hot dog at the turn, cooling off with a complimentary snow cone, and ending the night with live music on South Second Street. That's exactly what awaits the community and visitors during Putterpalooza, hosted by the Downtown Tipp City Partnership on Friday, August 7, from 5:00 to 8:00 p.m.

For one evening each summer, downtown transforms into a walkable mini golf adventure unlike anything else in the region. Local merchants become part of the course, welcoming players into their businesses, while creative outdoor holes by our Friends of Downtown line South Second Street. Whether you're aiming for a hole in one or simply enjoying an evening with family and friends, every stop offers a new reason to explore downtown.

Registered players will be able to make a stop at "the turn," where they'll be treated to a classic hot dog before continuing their round. In addition, those who register in advance will also receive a complimentary snow cone, making it the perfect way to cool off during a summer evening downtown.

Along the way, participants can visit the Downtown Tipp City Partnership's featured golf hole to pick up a complimentary reusable shopping bag(while supplies last), making it easy to browse the unique shops and boutiques throughout the evening. Visitors can also enter for a chance to win one of the giveaways or 50/50 drawing!

Once the final putt is made, the fun doesn't have to end. Guests are encouraged to stay downtown for Hotel Gallery Community Night, featuring live music on North Second Street and plenty of opportunities to continue shopping, dining, and enjoying everything downtown Tipp City has to offer.

"Putterpalooza is so much more than a game of mini golf," said Tasha Weaver, Executive Director of the Downtown Tipp City Partnership. "It's an opportunity to experience downtown in a way you normally wouldn't. You'll laugh with friends, discover businesses you may have never visited before, meet local merchants and friends, and make memories along the way. That's exactly why we create events like this. We want to bring people together while showcasing the heart of our community."

Participation is free, but advance registration is required for a hot dog and snow cone. Registration will be available on the Downtown Tipp City Partnership website from July 27 through August 5. PutterPalooza is made possible through the generous support of Casey's, Repacorp Inc., Mauk Cabinets by Design, and Main Street Financial Group Thrivent, along with the Downtown Tipp City Partnership's many volunteers who help bring this unique event to life.
