Presidential Aircraft On The Move

Estimated time for aircraft to pass the public viewing area is 9 a.m. Aircraft scheduled to move April 9 are VC-54C Sacred Cow and SAM 26000 (Air Force One).

The Douglas VC-54C Skymaster "Sacred Cow", was the first aircraft purpose-built to fly the President of the United States. President Kennedy flew aboard SAM 26000 to Dallas, Texas, where he was assassinated on Nov. 22, 1963, and it was on this airplane that Vice President Lyndon B. Johnson was sworn in as the new President after Kennedy’s death.
