Justice for Jacob
The Dayton community is coming together to support the family of Jacob Barker, the 2-year old who tragically died at Dayton Children’s Hospital after he was found unresponsive on August 9. A silent auction will be held at the Marion Lanes in Huber Heights on September 4 which will include 50/50 raffles, and many gift baskets and certificates. In addition, two GoFundMe pages have been set up by family members and close friends to help with funeral costs, medical bills and other related expenses.
“Although he was only in the world for two years, he gave everybody he came across, you know, a lifetime of memories; always smiling,” Jesse Barker said of his son, Jacob. “He had a heart of gold. He loved everybody, and he would do anything in the world for anybody.”
