Join us for our outdoor summer festival at the ​Greene County Fairgrounds & Expo Center in Xenia July 2026

Xenia will be the center of the bluegrass music world July 16th, 17th, and 18th as the Industrial Strength Bluegrass SUMMER FEST is presented at the Greene County Fairgrounds and Expo Center. Bringing national talent, legacy acts, international guests, hometown favorites, and exciting new artists to the neighborhood, this three-day event draws fans from throughout Ohio, the surrounding states and beyond. Southwest Ohio has important ties to the history of bluegrass music, and this festival celebrates that legacy on a grand scale.

The event is hosted by Joe Mullins, an award-winning broadcaster heard weekday mornings on Real Roots Radio. Mullins, also a banjo player and recording artist, retired from full-time touring with Joe Mullins and The Radio Ramblers in January after a performance at the Grand Ole Opry. He continues to be an influence in the bluegrass community on the radio and online through his viral social media series Name That Bluegrass Tune, which has garnered millions of views.

Mullins says, “I love bringing a regional and national audience to the fairgrounds in Greene County. It’s good for the summertime economy, and we surprise a lot of people with the quality of the music and its presentation. Please join us in Xenia!” For southwest Ohio music lovers who don't know much about the genre, this weekend offers a rare opportunity to experience the absolute highest level of bluegrass musicianship right in their own backyard – twenty acts across three days.
