Food Truck Fridays at the Montgomery County Fairgrounds
Montgomery County Fairgrounds, 1043 S. Main Street. Across from Miami Hospital.
*(Except for Friday July 7 & 14, during the Montgomery County Fair.)
The Montgomery County Agricultural Society along with the Restaurant Raiders of the Miami Valley have teamed up to present this tasty event.
Food trucks confirmed:
- El Meson
- Greek Street
- Food Fellas
- 1776 Grill
- The Wicked ‘Wich of Dayton
- Pit to Plate
- Quite Frankly
(Trucks may differ week to week)
“This is a wonderful opportunity to indulge in some of Dayton’s best cuisine with a nice variety of options all in one place.” Says Montgomery County Agricultural Society President John Yancik. “Also, did I mention we have plenty of free parking at the fairgrounds.”
“We encourage neighbors and workers in the area to spend their lunch hour with us. We will have a place to sit and eat while you enjoy the outdoors” Yancik adds.
The Montgomery County Fairgrounds is close to downtown, Miami Valley Hospital and The University of Dayton.
“When you don’t know what you are in the mood for, decide when you get there. We have a little bit of everything. El Meson, or take a trip to Greece with the Greek Street Food Truck. Mouthwatering BBQ with Pit to Plate or a gooey Bacon Grilled Cheese from 1776. Come over sit down and enjoy a variety of cuisines this summer.” Says Amy Zahora, spokesperson for the Restaurant Raiders of The Miami Valley.
‘TGIFFF, THANK GOODNESS, IT’S FAIRGROUNDS FOOD TRUCK FRIDAY’ begins Friday, June 9, and continues every Friday through September.* A reminder the Montgomery County Fair’s dates have changed to July 10-15, 2017. This is our #FAIRwellOnMain as the fairgrounds will relocate to Jefferson Township in 2018.
