Fifth Third Bank Arts Night Out - Ladies for Liberty
Held in conjunction with the special exhibition Call to Duty: World War Posters,Ladies for Liberty offers a trip back to the 1940s. The singing troupe is dedicated to performing the Andrew Sisters style of music, with their own rendition of vocals, costumes, hairstyles, and the spirit of patriotism reminiscent of the 1940s. They are sure to bring back old memories for a few and establish new ones for all!
The Fifth Third Bank Arts Night Out series began in the fall of 2012 as a theatrical series that brings visual art and the stage together for three one-of-a-kind performances in the museum’s beautiful Renaissance Auditorium. The 2015 season features the nostalgic singing trio Ladies for Liberty, renowned artist Béatrice Coron and a revival of the popular stage play Grandma Moses: An American Primitive by Oldcastle Theatre Company.
