Join us for the Capable Kids: Our Let Grow Challenge kickoff—a fun, family-friendly evening designed to help kids take on age-appropriate challenges and help parents discover the benefits of stepping back and letting kids step up.
Come for the fun. Leave with ideas your family can use at home! At our kickoff Open House, families can:
- Enjoy fun activities for kids
- Create your own Independence Bingo card
- Explore helpful Let Grow resources for parents and families
- Enjoy s'mores and games!
The Let Grow Challenge is built on a simple idea:
"When adults step back, kids step up."
This is an open-participation program that encourages families to explore reasonable childhood independence and help kids grow their confidence and self-reliance—one small step at a time.
Best of all, there's no pressure and no one-size-fits-all approach. Each family can decide what makes sense for their children.
Bring the whole family! Come learn more, have some fun, and take the first step toward helping kids become more capable and independent.
