Eat, Create, and Meditate for Dayton Mediation Center

Eat, Create, and Meditate is more than a fundraiser! Come enjoy a casual evening of interactive cooking, Yoga, and art creation with nationally-recognized Dayton artist, Mike Elsass!

The event will take place at The Brightside, one of our sponsors, and catering will be provided by Fresco, another event sponsor. Proceeds will benefit the Center's Peer Mediation Program at the Women's Dayton Correctional Institution.

We are celebrating 31 years of being one of Dayton’s key ingredients as the region’s premier provider of conflict intervention services. Our fundraiser is a great opportunity to learn about the organization and its progressive work providing a range of conflict intervention services, including conflict management training for youth, helping families and neighborhoods groups, and supporting individuals, groups, and organizations engage in productive conversations.

This community event is designed to raise awareness of the Center’s services while creating a beautiful and fun evening of food, art, and yoga to raise funds to support the Center’s Women’s Prison Peer Mediation Program, the first of its kind in the region to train incarcerated women in the skills of conflict intervention. The goal of this unique program is to help reduce prison conflicts while helping them when they are released and return to their families and communities.

New this year - our VIP ticket holders will receive two drink tickets and a Yoga mat and carrying pouch with the Dayton Mediation Center logo on it!
