SHE-ROE Speaker Series

The SHE-Roe Program began in 2017 as a lunchtime initiative to both offer an empowering hour of power and to bring more customers into the coffeehouse, while focusing on the stories of women of color. From the very beginning, the SHE-Roe Program offered a platform for speakers to encouragement to all guests. This exciting experience is now at a library near you.
The program recognizes SHE-Roes in six categories: arts, business, education, health & wellness, social justice, and spirituality. The women are nominated based on their dedication to the Dayton area community.

This year's SHE-Roes are:

  • Art - Deshona Pepper Robertson
  • Business - Whitney Barkley
  • Education - Michelle Littlejohn
  • Health & Wellness - Shiron Jones
  • Social Justice - Shenise Turner-Sloss
  • Spirituality - Elizabeth Ball
