Rebuilding Together Dayton's National Rebuilding Day

Rebuilding Together Dayton’s next National Rebuilding Day will be held on Saturday April 26, 2014.  In lieu of our usual city wide effort, we are concentrating our work in one neighborhood. Nationally RT affiliates have been asked to develop a strategic plan by focusing energies to facilitate repairs in a single neighborhood. By concentrating resources, synergy is created and greater amounts of neighborhood improvements occur.

The neighborhood chosen for National Rebuilding Day 2014 is the Twin Towers neighborhood in east Dayton. The boundaries are the Wyoming corridor on the east, Wayne Avenue on the west , State Route 35 on the north and Wyoming St. on the south. Neighborhoods contiguous to this area will be considered if additional properties are needed. The redevelopment of this area by our long time partners St. Mary Development Corporation and East End Community Services created the ideal neighborhood necessary for this venture.
