Experience music, theater, dance, puppets, poetry, independent film, and interactive art workshops at the main Dayton Metro Library in downtown Dayton.
Dayton Metro Library, in partnership with Montgomery County, Culture Works, the Ohio Arts Council, and the Dayton Metro Library Foundation, is excited to announce that Check Out the Arts 2022 will be held at the Main Library, Friday, September 30, from 4-8 pm and Saturday, October 1, from 10 am-4 pm.
Visitors will be able to immerse themselves in a variety of artistic performances from local creatives and arts organizations. Experience music, theater, dance, puppets, poetry, independent film, and interactive art workshops in both casual encounters and on formal stages set up throughout the Main Library.
COTA will feature Dayton Performing Arts, Urban Sketchers Dayton, SOS ART Cincinnati, Leesa Haapapuro, and Sarah Maxwell, among many others. A complete schedule of artists and their events/performances can be found at DaytonMetroLibrary.org/Arts.
