Centerville Veterans Day Ceremony - virtual for 2020

Centerville Announces Virtual Veterans Day Ceremony

Watch the ceremony live on the City of Centerville, Ohio – Government Facebook page

The City of Centerville is proud to be home to so many men and women who served our country. Every year, we honor them in many ways: our designation as a Purple Heart City, the Veterans Memorial at Stubbs Park with the veterans’ brick walkway, our Memorial Day Ceremony and – of course—the Americana Festival. Our proud traditions include the Veterans Day Ceremony, where we invite community members to celebrate some of our country’s bravest.

The keynote address will be delivered by Wright-Patterson Air Force Base Commander Colonel Patrick Miller.

This year, the City will also honor three residents who have contributed greatly to our country’s freedom and security. Please read the stories of 97-year-old USAF First Lt. Walter Pettit, former ‘Rosie the Riveter’ Ruth Snavely and USAF chaplain David Cottrill: https://bit.ly/3mAxP9B

All veterans will be honored at Centerville’s Veterans Day Ceremony, November 11 at 11:00 a.m. at the Veterans Memorial at Stubbs Park, 255 West Spring Valley Pike.

With in-person attendance limited to those involved with the ceremony, please join us virtually on our City of Centerville, Ohio – Government Facebook page to honor those who have served our nation.
