Boonshoft Museum Hosts Annual Educator Open House
Calling all educators – the 2018-2019 school year is beginning! On Thursday, August 30 from 6:00 p.m. – 8:00 p.m. come see what the Boonshoft Museum, SunWatch Indian Village, and Fort Ancient Earthworks and Nature Preserve have to offer you and your students.
Not only are we thrilled to show you our menu of programming for the 2018-2019 school year, we will provide you with some insight on effective ways to bring STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math) to your classroom.
The night will feature a variety of program samplings from our sites. Meet our professional educators, experience the Museum, learn about our Workshops and Exhibits-to-Go programming and much, much more at this FREE evening of exploration.
Highlights of the 2018 Open House will include:
• Program samples from the Boonshoft Museum, Fort Ancient, and SunWatch
• Grant application assistance
• Complimentary wine and hors d’oeuvres
• CEU credit certificate
Open to all teachers and administrators. Space for this adult event is limited; registration is FREE but required.
