Alpha 5 Balloon Final Inflation

In September 2023, Larry Connor led a team of four U.S. Air Force Pararescue Specialists in setting a Guinness World Record for the highest HALO formation skydive at an astounding 38,139 feet.

The Alpha 5 Project combined the challenge with a purpose, helping raise more than a million dollars for the Special Operations Warrior Foundation, which assists the families of fallen soldiers. (Federal Endorsement Not Implied)

Bring a thermos of your favorite morning coffee and join us June 22 from 7- 8 a.m. on the front lawn as the Alpha 5 balloon is inflated a final time before it is donated to the Museum's collection. (Federal endorsement of coffee is not implied...feel free to bring whatever beverage makes you happy in the morning!)
