Make and Design Your Own Pattern Weights
Pattern weights are the perfect way to cut around a pattern if you are not wanting to pin, they are also super handy if you like to rotary cut your pieces. Instead of spending a bunch of money on premade ones, come take this 3-hour class to make your very own weights with scraps! All shapes and sizes for all your cutting need!
Prerequisites: None; Basic skills preferred but not necessary.
Pattern weights are often costly and boring, make your own from your favorite scraps!
What you will learn:
Seam allowance
Cutting
Pinning
Backstitching
Flip and turn
Filling project with stones
Finishing techniques
Ages: 12 and up
Max Students: 6
Bring:
Sewing Machine (if you have one)
Thread (if using your own machine)
Supplies included:
Scraps for projects (feel free to bring your own as well)
Fill for pattern weights
Thread (if using my machine)
Basic sewing kit
