Emoji Pillows are all the rage and kids are loving this class! They get to choose what emoji they will applique the face to the yellow fabric and then sew together the pillow! “Sew” much fun!
Kids Create is monthly sewing time for kids to be creative, I come up with a fun, hip and trendy project that is easy for even those that don’t sew! The kids will learn something fun and useful. Being, an effective and easy way to introduce your child to sewing WHILE being able to have a few hours to get those errands done that you were trying to figure out how or just your time!
This workshop will be two hours of learning and creative play.
Kids will learn the following basic techniques of the machine:
Seam Allowance
Pivot/Turn
Flipping right side out
Clipping Corners
Applique for the Emoji Face
Then, the kids will choose from different icons to create a stuffed pillow with an appliqued emoji design of their choice from wool felt!
Ages: 8-17
