Join us at The Sorg for an evening of fine music March 2
On Saturday, March 2, 2024, the Butler Philharmonic Orchestra and world-renowned violinist Cristian Fatu, return to Middletown’s magnificent Sorg Opera House. Warm up the end of winter with our presentation of Mendelssohn Mania! The music of Felix Mendelssohn is quintessential early Romanticism. The orchestra will present the brooding Hebrides Overture, otherwise known as Fingal’s Cave, and the exuberant Symphony No. 4 (The Italian). Maestro Fatu joins the BPO for Mendelssohn’s iconic Violin Concerto in E minor, Op. 64.
