Acoustic Rock Night with The Fries Band
Join us under the pavilion as the RiverScape Summer Music Series features Classic Rock Night with the Fries Band! Bring your lawn chairs and enjoy this FREE live concert, while taking in a spectacular sunset over the Great Miami River. The RiverScape Cafe will be open selling food and drinks along with alcoholic beverages, including beer, wine, and cocktails, for those 21 and over.
The Fries Band started out in Dayton in 1989 as an acoustic trio called “The French Fries,” which consisted of three acoustic guitars and three vocals composed of Gary Knight, Pat McKeown and James Taylor. They now boast a full band, and are known for their premier vocal blends focusing on very tight three, four and five-part vocal harmonies that are primarily driven by acoustic guitars with keyboard, bass and drums. The Fries Band has been entertaining all over the West Central Ohio area and beyond with cover songs from the ’60s, ’70s and ’80s including hits from Crosby Stills, Nash & Young, America, Beatles, and Beach Boys!
