SOAP UP DAYTON- Join us in the fight against Human Trafficking

Human trafficking is the second leading crime in the United States. Help us fight human trafficking and locate missing youth from the area prior to the Final Four. Hundreds of thousands of people will be visiting our city and we want to keep it safe.

Dayton, Ohio - On March 8th, the University of Dayton will host the SOAP (Save Our Adolescents from Prostitution) Anti-Human Trafficking Event to raise awareness about the devastating issue of human trafficking in our community.

The mission of the SOAP Project is to end human trafficking by mobilizing communities, providing prevention, education and advocacy and facilitating restorative experiences for survivors. The SOAP event includes human trafficking prevention training, essential resources and information to raise awareness on the topic of sex trafficking, and community outreach.

Volunteers will visit local hotels and motels around the Dayton area to deliver bars of soap and make up remover wipes labeled with the National Human Trafficking Hotline number and resources for trafficked individuals.
