Meet new American artists at Nov. 4 reception
The Dayton-area community is invited to help Welcome Dayton kick-off the New American Artist Exhibit on Saturday, Nov. 4, at the Dayton Metro Library. Enjoy musical and dance performances and light refreshments while meeting artists from around the world now calling Dayton home.
Artists from around the world now calling Dayton home will offer original artwork at an open house presented by the Welcome Dayton Community, Culture and Arts Committee on Saturday, Nov. 4, from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m., at the Dayton Metro Library (Community Room, second floor, 215 E. Third St.).
Artists expected to be in attendance are originally from countries including Colombia, Venezuela, and Ukraine. Music and dance performances and light refreshments will also be presented.
The New Americans Art Exhibit will continue through Dec. 31, also on the second floor of the Main Library, during the library's standard operating hours, with free admission.
