City-wide Garage Sale in Centerville April 25-27
Looking for some great bargains? The City of Centerville’s annual Citywide Garage Sale is Thursday, April 25 through Saturday, April 27, 2024. Sales take place 8 a.m. – 5 p.m. each day in neighborhoods throughout Centerville.
Centerville residents who register their sale prior to the April 7 deadline will receive one complimentary yard sign, which will be available for pickup at the Centerville Municipal Building from April 10 - April 24 during normal business hours (8:00 a.m. - 4:30 p.m.).
The City will also advertise the sale in the newspaper, on social media and on the City website.
The City prepares a list of all registered addresses and a brief list of items for sale.
New in 2024 is the Curbside Treasure Hunt on Sunday, April 28 from 8:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m. Residents who are City of Centerville waste collection customers will be permitted to place any unsold items at the curbside and clearly label them as free. People participating in the treasure hunt will be permitted to search curbside items and take any items that are labeled free.
Any items remaining curbside after Sunday, April 28 will be collected during the City's Operation: Clean Sweep. Operation: Clean Sweep is a free bulk-item pickup for our waste collection customers for two weeks following garage sale weekend.
